October Update

Spooky season is underway! Get the costumes and candy ready (except if you’re a dentist, then get toothpaste). Meanwhile, here’s where my projects are standing.

I am presently focusing my efforts on my fourth draft of The Saga of Freya: Volume 1 – The Drakenprincess of Ravensholt Hall. It is a complete re-write with only the first chapter largely kept the same from earlier drafts. I am pleased to announce that Chapter 4 has been finished and I am now working on Chapter 5.

Light and Dark is in a finished state (from a literary perspective) and I have no plans to make any edits on the text going forward. However I would still need to format the documents before it is ready for a print version. More art would be lovely, and I have this idea for a super colorful special edition digital version with all the art, but I’d need to get the art commissioned before that can be completed.

Beowulf: Valor and Valhalla remains approximately 33% finished. I have no plans to work further on this in the near term so that I may prioritize The Saga of Freya. However, I am still happy to perform excerpts live at the appropriate venues.

Finally, November is just around the corner and we all know what that means. Time to write like crazy. Last year I did National Novel Writing Month, I wrote 100k works. My target isn’t quite so ambitious this time, I’d be happy with 50k. And I will almost certainly expect to finish the draft of the Saga of Freya by the end of November.

Enjoy October! Have fun!
